Video Trimmer — Cut Start & End Points in Your Browser
Cut a video down to the good part: set a start and an end, and the clip between them is yours — nothing else is kept, and nothing is uploaded.
Video Trimmer
Cut from start to end — no re-upload
Seconds or min:sec — e.g. 0:05 to 0:12 cuts a 7-second clip. Everything outside the range is discarded.
First run downloads the local engine (~31 MB) once, then your browser caches it for next time. Processing speed depends on your device — short clips are quickest, and longer videos simply take longer. Everything happens in this tab; the network stays empty the whole time.
How to trim a video in your browser
- Choose the video you want to cut down.
- Enter the start and end of the part you want to keep — plain seconds (7) or min:sec (0:12) both work.
- Run the trim. The engine re-encodes exactly the range you chose, so the cut lands where you asked, not on the nearest convenient frame.
- Preview the clip and download it as an MP4.
Trimming before sharing is the single best way to keep a clip under a size or length limit — under 15 seconds for a story, under 60 for a casual upload. And because the cut happens locally, a clip of something private never passes through a stranger's server to lose its boring seconds.
Why it's private
Trimmers usually upload the full video first, then cut on their servers — so the part you wanted to remove is what they get a copy of. This one cuts locally: only the range you keep is ever encoded, and the original never crosses your network.
Who needs this
Anyone shortening a clip for a story or a demo, removing the ten seconds of dead air at the start of a recording, or trimming a sensitive screen capture before it leaves the building.
