How to generate a sitemap (3 steps)

1. Paste your URLs, one per line — the tool validates the format and escapes special characters.

• Does a sitemap make pages rank higher? No — it speeds discovery. Crawlers get your full URL inventory instantly instead of guessing through links, which matters most for new sites.
• What about lastmod dates? Only include a lastmod you actually mean. A sitemap claiming every page changed today teaches the crawler your dates are noise.
• How many URLs can one sitemap hold? 50,000 URLs and 50 MB. Beyond that you use a sitemap index of smaller sitemaps — most sites never hit the limit.
